Aerovation presents ARES

Less contamination - more elevation.

ARES is a sensor-controlled inlet system that charges fine desert dust and steers it away from the engine core before it can do damage.

The problem

Desert dust is wearing engines down

During take-off and landing, aircraft engines ingest fine dust that erodes components, blocks cooling passages and cuts efficiency. The finest particles are the hardest to stop.

0-20μm

The fine particle range that conventional separators struggle to catch.

Take-off & landing

The flight phases where dust is pulled into the engine.

Rising costs

Faster engine wear means more maintenance and higher operating costs.

How ARES works

Charge. Deflect. Collect. Monitor.

Four steps that keep fine dust out of the engine core and give maintenance teams the data to act on.

  1. 01

    Charge

Sensors detect dust at the intake and an electric field charges the incoming particles.

  2. 02

    Deflect

Charged particles are steered away from the engine core.

  3. 03

    Collect

Dust is held in washable catch zones that are cleaned automatically after landing.

  4. 04

    Monitor

A dust-exposure monitor logs contamination so teams can target inspections and cleaning.
