About us
We are a group of sixth form students taking part in the Conrad Challenge. As individuals we bring different areas of expertise, and our specialist interests complement one another to form Aerovation.
The team
Different strengths, one goal. Here are the people behind ARES.
Aurelia is in Year 12, studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Economics. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the violin and piano, reading and ice skating, and has a passion for languages.
Carina studies Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Outside of lessons, her great passion is music, and she loves listening, playing and singing.
Ella studies Maths, Further Maths, French, Physics and Chemistry. Outside of lessons, she plays the piano and cello, and enjoys running and crosswords.
Maria is in Year 12, studying Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics, and sits in on Economics. Outside of lessons, she has debated actively for five years and also enjoys netball, swimming and baking.

What we're building
Our inlet system charges fine dust and steers it away from the engine core, while a dust-exposure monitor helps maintenance teams plan ahead.
